This week on Teen Truth we are going to be discussing the fan fiction "After" with Instagram's legendary account who would like to stay unnamed.
The fan fiction After has a good 100+ chapters in each of its 3 books, the author Anna Todd is selling merchandise, getting the book's published, and also is getting a movie. My guest ad I both agree that they is abusive parts in the book where the main character Tessa gets abused physically, emotionally, and sexual being with Harry Styles.
Ash (the guest i am interviewing) wants to promote awareness that not all abuse is physical, and that emotional abuse may not even be realized by the victim because most emotional abusers (like Harry in After) are cunning and manipulative. She would like to educate the topic of abuse and how its not clearly read out and seen by others because so many of Anna's readers have this idea in their heads that emotional abuse is less sever then so called "real abuse", they aren't capable to see the signs of emotional abuse in Hessa's (harry and Tessa) relationship.
